The 360 is the new generation of FERRARI with this “revolutionary” F1 box and an Aluminum body.

2 seater sports car built by Ferrari from 1999 to 2005. It succeeded the Ferrari F355 and was replaced by the Ferrari F430. It is a v8 engine positioned in the rear center position, rear drive wheels. Ferrari in partnership with Alcoa has produced a brand new aluminum chassis which is 40% stiffer than that of the F355 made of steel. The entire vehicle is 28% lighter despite a 10% increase in volume. With an aluminum body Pininfarina has designed a vehicle in the tradition of models from the previous decade. The new V8 engine, common to all versions, uses a 3.6 liter, flat surface crankshaft, titanium connecting rods and generates 400 hp (300 kW). Despite what looks like modest gains on paper, in reality the power-to-weight ratio has been significantly improved compared to that of the F355, this is due to the combination of these two factors: a lighter car and more power. Acceleration performance from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) is improved from 4.6 to 4.3 seconds. The first model to be implemented was the 360 Modena followed later by the Spider 360 and finally in a special edition, the Challenge Stradale: which is an even more efficient road version, with the carbon-ceramic brakes of the Ferrai Enzo , a sportier suspension than the base model, weight reduction, power improvements and revised gearbox software to improve shift times. In addition to this, there were low volume factory racing cars, these where all derive from the 360 Modena and for the first time produced as a separate model in their own right (compared to being retro kit adaptation in previous incarnations). The first was in place at the Défi 360 Modena, used in a do series, factory built race cars or prepared by the official tuner, Michelotto who also made the 360 N-GT. The N-GT is a 360 Challenge car that has evolved even further to compete more seriously in the classes of the FIA N-GT races alongside other major brands.
